Federal authorities approves the establishment of eight new non-public universities in Nigeria.

The federal government accredited the established order of 8 new private universities at its federal government council meeting which hung on wednesday, 2d of november 2016. This followed the recommendation for his or her status quo through the countrywide universities commission. The newly mounted universities are as follows:

• Anchor college, ayobo, lagos
• Arthur jarvis akpabuyo college, calabar, move river
• Clifford university, owerinta, abia
• Coal town college, enugu
• Crown hill college, kwara
• Dominican college, ibadan, oyo
• Kola daisy college, ibadan, oyo
• Legacy college, okija, anambra
