JAMB Orders CBT Operators To Upgrade Their Centres Or Lose License
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has in preparation for the conduct of the 2017 UTME has emphasized again that all licensed operators of Computer Based Test (CBT) centres must increase the capacity of their centres to accommodate 250 candidates at a sitting.
This was contained in a document issues by JAMB.
According to JAMB, there's an agreement with all CBT proprietors of CBT centres concerning the standardization of all CBT centres, in terms of capacity, equipment, materials, competent human resources and security appliances including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
The document warned that failure to comply with the new set of rules would result in automatic disqualification of the operator and outright withdrawal of its license.
